Admission Requirements for Doctoral Studies:
To know if you meet the admission requirements for doctoral studies, you must ensure that your master's degree is recognized by the Israeli CHE, as this is the first thing checked by the university abroad. Then you need a research topic approved by a supervisor abroad, and the last thing is for your research proposal to be approved. Sometimes when there is over-registration for the doctoral program, there is also an admission interview.
Duration of the Doctoral Program - How long does the Ph.D. take?
A full-time program is completed in four years, including 4 trips abroad for about a week each time. After a year and a half, you submit the research proposal, write an article, and participate in an international conference. Another half year for field research and data analysis, and another half year of writing the discussion and sending for external review. In the third year, the flight is optional, and in the fourth year, there's a flight for the degree defense. During the stay abroad, frontal courses are taught, and meetings with supervisors take place. These days, all learning is via Zoom, just like in academia worldwide.

Graduates receive a Ph.D. degree. The degree is recognized in Israel. The degree meets all 4 criteria of international recognition: 1. Recognized by the Department for Evaluation of Foreign Academic Degrees at the Ministry of Education, 2. Recognized by the local CHE, 3. International program with students from all over the world, 4. Very high academic ranking indicating professors who research and publish in ranked and respected journals.
