Background on the University:
Charles University, also known as Charles University in Prague (Czech: University of Karlova), is the oldest and largest institution of higher education in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1348, making it the first institution of higher education in Central Europe and one of the oldest universities in the world.

 

Charles University enjoys a high academic reputation and is ranked 189th in the world. Its emblem even appears on the 100 crown bill of the Czech Republic.

Admission Requirements:
For admission to the doctoral program in education at Charles College, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Hold an accredited master's degree
2. Submit a research proposal that has been approved by a foreign supervisor.
3. Participate in an admission interview.

 

Duration of the program:
The doctoral program in education can be completed in two years. The comprehensive curriculum spans two years, including four study abroad periods of approximately 10 days each. If a student needs more time to complete the program, only one trip per year is scheduled.

Graduation:
Upon completion of the program, students receive a doctoral degree from an accredited institution abroad. The degree is recognized in Israel and enables graduates to contribute to education and mathematics in academia and other professional fields.
